Hey, I'm Josh.
Growing up, I was always drawing & making things. When I bought my first MacBook at 16 with my own savings, it felt like a door opening. Suddenly I could create digitally & never really stopped.
After a failed architecture degree and a random Instagram post that changed everything, I ended up at Snocks, back when it was still becoming one of Germany's biggest e-commerce brands. I slept in the office for three months, built the online shop from scratch, scaled it through Facebook Ads & eventually generated over 15 million ⏠in email revenue.Â
That chapter taught me what ads & email marketing can really do for a brand & how much it matters.
But this time also taught me something else.Â
E-commerce has a way of taking everything you love about building a brand, the creativity, the freedom, the idea that you are making something that is yours & quietly replacing it with ad account checks, endless deadlines & a constant low-grade fear of falling behind.
I did not notice it happening until it already had. Over a period of nearly two years, I burned out completely. Daily panic attacks & a body that had stopped coping long before my mind admitted it.
Coming out of that, I knew:Â
I wanted to stop contributing to the problem and start building the thing I had always needed myself.
Everything I build now comes from that.Â
I believe email marketing is the only channel left that gives a brand real freedom, the ability to reach your own audience without an algorithm deciding if you are allowed to. But that freedom only means something if you actually know how to use it. Building a list is one thing. Sending emails that connect &Â that turn a shop into a brand people remember, that takes craft.
That is what I spend my time on.Â
Working as a solo-agency with selected e-commerce brands like:
& building mailsupply, a growing library of email templates designed to give brand owners their time back
+ sharing everything I learn through my courses and newsletter.Â
Because I believe you got into this ecom thing for the freedom. And I think you should actually get to have it.
