frequently asked Questions

Is the checklist still worthwhile if I don't have a Shopify store?

The checklist is based entirely on my experience with Klaviyo in combination with Shopify – setups I have implemented for brands like Snocks, Inkster & Störtebekker.

If you use Klaviyo but a different eCommerce platform (e.g., WooCommerce or Shopware), you can still apply much of the content—but more in terms of structure, priorities, and email strategy.

What if I don't work with Klaviyo?

This checklist is aimed at Shopify stores that use Klaviyo—or plan to use it soon. Many ideas can also be implemented with Mailchimp, Omnisend, or Brevo, but sooner or later, you'll reach your limits.

Therefore, my clear recommendation: If you take email marketing seriously, switch to Klaviyo. Otherwise, this checklist probably isn't for you.

I already use Klaviyo – will the checklist still be of any use to me?

Absolutely. You can see at a glance which flows, segments, or quick wins you're still missing – sorted by revenue level. Even if you're already sending campaigns, you'll find new revenue levers here.

Who is the checklist for – and who is it not for?

This checklist is aimed at e-commerce brands with their own Shopify store that use (or plan to use) Klaviyo and generate at least €1,000 in monthly revenue.

Why this limit? Because I've seen in practice that only at this point is email marketing truly taken seriously—and can generate measurable revenue.

The checklist is not suitable for you if you:

– don’t have your own Shopify store yet & are just thinking about starting one

– have nothing to do with e-commerce

– work in an agency and want to use the content for clients

This checklist is exclusively for Shopify stores with real sales—not for theory or agency work.
